This 600 acre farm, owned by Jenny & Reg Franks, occupies the end of the valley and backs on to Wollemi National Park, with the famous Dunns Swamp (featured on TV's Getaway and Our Country) only a short distance away. The perfect location to experience everything that the Mudgee-Rylstone region has to offer!

Choose your accommodation from a 4 bedroom self-contained farmhouse, or 2 bedroom stone cottage, lovingly hand constructed out of local sandstone by Reg. If you prefer being one with nature, there's your own private secluded campsite complete with fireplace, BBQ and bathroom. There's plenty of clear area for tents and campervans and room for children to play and explore. At Franks' Breakaway Farmstay, it's country accommodation at its best. Relax with a good book on the sunny verandah or enjoy some of the many activities, including bushwalking, table tennis, cycling (BYO helmet), fishing, spotting platypus, discovering wombat holes, and birdwatching.
